The IDENT Server is a special tool that allows you to activate an 'IDENT'-like (or AUTH per RFC 1413) server that listens on TCP port 123 for IDENT requests. An IDENT server is supposed to provide a means to identify the user of a particular TCP connection. But our server only tells the requestor what you want them to know.
